9 Day Bavaria and Passion Play (with Lake Konigsee Cruise)
OBERAMMERGAU PASSION PLAY 2022

DAY 1: USA / MUNICH. Depart USA for Europe. Breakfast and dinner will be served aloft.
DAY 2: MUNICH. Upon arrival at the airport, we are met by our guide & driver who will conduct us on a panoramic tour of Munich, including the Marienplatz and Frauenkirche. Afterwards, we retire to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 3: MUNICH / ALTOETTING / SALZBURG. After a nights rest and hearty breakfast, we board our motor coach, bound for Altoetting. Here, we visit the shrine of Mary. We celebrate Mass at the Chapel of Mercy and spend time seeing the Statue of Our Lady. We then continue on to “Sound of Music” city of Salzburg for dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 4: SALZBURG. After breakfast this morning, we tour Mozart’s birthplace & museum, the Glockenspiel Tower, the Mirabell Gardens & Palace and Lustschloss Hellbrunn. In the afternoon, we visit Nonnberg and the Benedictine Abbey of St. Peter. The balance of the day is at our leisure for Shopping or other pursuits of our own. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 5: SALZBURG. Today, we have several excursions in the area after a hearty breakfast. First, we pay a visit to Berchtesgaden and the village of Obersalzburg – the site of Hitler’s “Eagles Nest.” In the afternoon, we enjoy a cruise on Lake Konigsee and see the spectacular sights around the lake. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAY 6: SALZBURG / OBERAMMERGAU. Following breakfast, we travel through the heart of Bavaria on our way to Oberammergau. We’ll stop along the way to see the Church in the Meadow and Neuchwanstein Castle. Dinner and overnight in Oberammergau.
DAY 7: PASSION PLAY. The whole day is devoted to attending a performance of the world famous Passion Play, held once every ten years in this tiny alpine village. Dinner and overnight.
DAY 8: OBERAMMERGAU / MUNICH. We return to Munich this morning after breakfast. Along the way, we stop at the Monastery of Ettal to celebrate Mass. We then continue onto Munich with the balance of the day at our leisure for shopping or pursuits of our own. At the end of the day, we retire to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAY 9: MUNICH / USA. Transfer this morning to Munich Airport at the end of our memorable tour.
