9 Day Rome, Assisi and Medjugorje

DAY 01: Depart North America aboard our trans- Atlantic flight. Dinner and breakfast will be served aloft.
DAY 02: ROME. After arrival in Rome we will be picked up and transferred from airport to hotel. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.

DAY 03: ROME. A morning visit to the Vatican City includes the Museum, the Sistine Chapel, St. Peter's Square, Church of St. Peter, Basilica of St. Paul, the ancient Appian Way and the catacombs of St. Caliztus. Afternoon sightseeing will include Moses' Fountain, Quirinale Palace, Pantheon, Roman Forum, Arch of Titus, the Colosseum - site of early Christian martyrdom - and Mamertine Prison, possibly the final place of confinement of the Apostle Paul before his execution. Return to our hotel for overnight.
DAY 04: ROME. A tour of Rome will follow breakfast at the hotel. We will visit the Catacombs, the Appian Way, Capitoline Hill, St. Peter in Chains, Colosseum, Arch of Constantine, Circus Maximus, and Palazza Venezia. We will also visit three of the four major basilicas in Rome ( the other being St. Peter's Basilica ). These basilicas include St. Mary Major, St. John Lateran, and St. Paul Outside the Walls. This evening we drive to Assisi for dinner and overnight.
DAY 05: ASSISI. Today we visit the Tomb of St. Francis and the Portiuncula where the great Franciscan family has its origins. We will also see the relics of St. Clare, as well as her incorrupt body. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Assisi. This afternoon is at leisure for activities of your own. Dinner and overnight at our hotel in Rome.
DAYS 06: ROME / DUBROVNIK / MEDJUGORE. Early this morning we will transferto the airport for our flight to Dubrovnik where we meet our guide andmotorcoach for our drive to Medjugore. Check into our hotel for dinner and overnight.

DAYS 07: MEDJUGORE. After breakfast we have a full day of sightseeing including the Holy Shrines and religious sites of Medjugore. If available, we will meet with Father Goco to here the story of the apparitions. We will visit the town cathedral this afternoon. Return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.
DAYS 08: MEDJUGORE. In the morning attend mass at the St. James church (held in English) and join the villagers and pilgrims from all over the world for the evening Rosary and Croatian Mass. Our guide will take us and introduce us to the visionaries for a talk and question time. We will climb the Apparition Hill 'Podbro' and the Cross Mountain 'Krizevac'. We will spend time in prayer and meditation at the most peaceful place in world where our Blessed Mother first appeared to the children. Dinner and overnight at our hotel.
DAYS 09: MEDJUGORE/ DUBROVNIK / NORTH AMERICA. This morning we return to Dubrovnik for our flight home - the end of a most unforgettable journey
